I manage and facilitate programs out of the Nannie J. Lee Recreation Center. Programs include: After-school enrichment programs for children with and without disabilities, senior programs, open gym, adult programs (with disabilities) and special events for the community.

What types of work will the intern perform?
Assist staff with implementing enrichment activities for our school age children ages 5 – 12 years old. Some duties include: supervision and safeguarding our children, planning and implementing creative and enriching activities, thoroughly engaging the youth in all activities, utilize talents and skills to enhance the existing curriculum, as well as set up and break down of all activities.
What might a highly motivated intern experience while working for your organization?
