As the Community Executive, I am responsible for identifying and developing personal and business relationships with key community, governmental, military, and business leaders for the purpose of revenue and resource generation and for marketing and increasing access to Red Cross programs, services, activities, and products.

What types of work will the intern perform?
- Filing
- Data entry
- Writing donor solicitation/recognition pieces (notes, letters, etc.)
- Event planning duties
- Assisting with design of social media plans for local area and event specific plans
- Support to community outreach initiative
- Volunteer coordination
- Provide support to our Leadership Council (similar to a board)
What might a highly motivated intern experience while working for your organization?
- Meet community leaders
- Work with a team of volunteers and our Leadership Council to assist with first annual Red Cross art event/contest
- Create presentations and organize scavenger hunts
