Bronxwood- Larenzo Anderson

October5

In the book, “Bronxwood”, the trials and tribulations of a young teen living in a troubled neighborhood are chronicled. In my most recent chapter, the young man, named Trey, has to take care of his little brother. He has been put with a foster parent that he does not like all, and Trey is doing his best to help him through this situation, even though he has problems of his own. This, in my opinion, shows Trey’s true character, as he willing to put others over himself.  While most people would look at Trey as if he were a street urchin, he really means well.  Trey’s father has just gotten out of jail, and while he would like to see him, he is not ecstatic. This is partly because he has been using his father’s DJ equipment to make money to take care of his brother and himself. I predict that Trey’s mixed feelings about his father will cause him to drift away from him, due to his affections with his friend Jasmine and his brother.
