In this blog post I will be making a visualization of the last chapter I have read of the book by Cecil Castellucci Beige. In this last chapter Katie was bored at home with her dad in LA so she went to the living room and saw her dad “… sitting on the couch with his drumsticks hitting on a practice pad.” When I read this line I can make a picture in my mind of what is happening. When I read this I can see a shabby man (Katie’s dad) lying on a couch. I can see that he is sweating looking all nasty. I can see the Rat with the drumsticks hitting the pad. I also can see Katie being irritated by how her dad spends the day instead of looking for a job. This is how I visualize the quote.
