While reading this interesting book Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult, I can connect some of the struggles Peter, a childhood friend of Josie  the main cahracter goes through every day to what some kids go through when they are bullied. Bullying is a issue that is seen everywhere, people can be really cruel to someone that in their minds doesn’t fit into their world. In this book Peter gets always bullied by his classmates, as we can see in this chapter, ” Matt took his glasses, slammed the locker door on them, and let the mangled frames drop to the floor…. Peter knelt down on the floor, trying to pick uo the broken pieces of glass” These people don’t realize how much bullying can physically and mentally hurt someone forever and due to that a lot of kids have commited suicide because the victims have been bullied so much that they can’t take it anymore.
