I am currently reading At Her Majesty’s Request about an African princess name Sarah Forbes Bonetta from Egbado who was capture by Gezo troop and brought her in to the capital of Dahomey where she would be slave. Gezo is a king who sacrifices other human being for the pleasure to honor the dead dahomain. Sarah was put in a basket to be sacrifice when Commander Forbes saw the tine little girl, he tried to make king Gezo stop the slaughter but king Gezo disagree with him. Forbes offered him money and “the king said it could not be stopped without bringing dishonor to the people of Dahomey” (Sarah #10). Forbes think in him mind, for him to start a fight but he realize that Gezo has a lot of soldier where surrounding them. I predict that Sarah is not going to die. If Gezo tried to kill Sarah there would be fight between him and Forbes.
