In this post I will visualize a line of the last chapter I read of Slow Waltz in Cedar Bend. In this chapter Michael is getting everything ready so he can leave and look for Jellie in India. Michael was always so responsible but this time was and emergency and he did not care about rules. He told his class that he will be leaving and everyone will have a high grade. When Michael said the class was over “Hats flew in the air, and a young woman’s voice came from far back in the classroom” (Waller 120) thanking Michael. When I read this line, in my mind I see a classroom with a long big board. In the board I can see all the complicated math Michael teaches his students. I can also see happiness and relief in the face of Michael’s students when he tells them everyone will have a good grade in the class.  I can see in my mind a young woman who stands in the back of the room, and she is being loud thanking Michael. That is what I can see when I read this line.
