The transmission system transmits or sends power from the engine to the wheels. A car moves forward through a combination of speed and torque or twisting power. For example, “The transmission sets these two characteristics so that the driver gets the smoothest, most efficient ride at the speed she wants. “ How does the transmission actually work, through the use of speed and torque to move the car? What would happen if the car had no transmission? What is torque?  What is these two transmissions? What would compromise the efficiency of the engine?
