I have so many questions after reading the chapter D-Day plus one. How scared were the soldiers have been after witnessing hundreds of japanese soldiers charging towards them and shooting at them? How were they able to stand their ground after such an attack? Why would the japanese charge at the marines even though they knew they were about to be shot at?Why would the japanese even risk themselves by exposing themselves to gunfire? “Such attacks- hordes of issen gorin rushing insanely through the darkness towards the bivouacked Americans”.
your post makes it seem as if you are reading a very depressing book. we recently learned about the japanese war and all the bloodshed that was involved. you ask some pretty good questions as well. you related it very well to the questioning strategy as well.
this book seems very intersting. eventhough you didnt give a little summary to help the reader know what the book is about, the reader can tell what it is about simply by reading your questions. good job and i hope you enjoy the book.
Your book sounds pretty intense! I like how some of it is from the enemy’s point of view.
I would read this book from what your writing
. You gave evidence of how the characters they feel and that helped me understand alot about this book and you ask good question that requires your congintive to work.
This book seems similiar to my book, Band of Brothers. I like how your questions summarized the chapter you read so you didn’t have to restate it.
