Picking cotton

So far i’ve read the prologue of the book picking cotton. It tells the story of how a man was wrongly accused for the rape of a women. coincedently these two people wrote the book together. My questing is how could the man ( ronald cotton) forgive the women who wrongfully accused him and caused him to spend 11 years in prison. It was a “Happily ever after” prologue. It stated how closley the two people were now. If i was in that situation i do not think id be able to talk to the person who caused me so lose 11 years on my life. How could he?
I totally understan your position in this case. I also don’t understand how someone can forgive such as difficult situtation. Maybe for some people is easier than others. I like the way that you explain your point of view. One thing that you could fix is when you use “I’ because you forgot to write capitol I.
This book seem to teach forgiveness and teaches the reader wisdom. I would defiantly read this book because it seem like it got great in sights about life.
