The book I’m reading is called the Circuit by Francisco. As I kept reading, these families are not getting to the point they want to be. For this reason the father decides to work more days and longer days to provide more money for the family. They were also on the process of moving so Francisco was not happy they were moving out of their tent. “That night I could not sleep. I lay in bed thinking about how much I hated this move.” (62). “A few days before Christmas papa decided to move from the cotton labor camp in Corcoran and look for work elsewhere (42)The day was getting closer to Christmas so Francisco started getting exciting. He was worried what he was going to get even though they were in that kind of area where they don’t have a place to sleep at.  At last, his mom felt bad for not keeping up with the tradition so she decided to collect some of the things the kids like and decided to wrap it at night while they were sleeping. The kids were not expecting anything from the family knowing that the place they are now is not a good place to ask for anything for Christmas present. The main idea of this section was how these kids didn’t want to move out and start their life again in a new environment. Even though it’s hard, they still had to go with their family to get a better job. Also, since Christmas was coming closer, the kids were kind of excited but not that much because they would not dare to ask what they are getting because of the situation they are.
