Cheryl is hiking with great and impressive effort. However, the forest and the nature is making it too difficult that she started to feel overwhelmed. She is scared and tired of insects and the way that goes the trip that she got angry when ants covered her entire leg. But after she explained that moment she said that ” I shot off the log…breathless with an unreasonable fear. And not just of the ants, but for everything. Of the fact that I wasn’t of this world, even if I insisted I was”. Therefore, the main idea of this paragraph is that she realized that even though she tries and tries, she cannot be part of a extreme and athletic person in nature. Because of the ants, she understood that hiking could not be the best idea for her since she is not comfortable with the enviroment. The final result of this is that she cannot deal with the trip.
