In this post I will make an inference about a passage of Promised the Moon. In this chapter NASA has initiated the program that will send humans into space. The problem was that, they did not know who to send. Then, they realized it; “Pilots: they needed pilots” (Nolen 71). Since Jerry is a pilot, I can conclude that she is going to be picked to be one of the people to consider for the job. The NASA needed “… at least people who sought out danger.”(Nolen 70). Jerry I perfect for the job; she is an excellent. She always takes high risks, and also needs a job.
