In this post I will make an evaluation about the last chapter I have read of Promised the Moon. In this chapter Jerrie have already been ask to participate in the space project. I feel excited for her; she has always liked to be part of something big. She earned a lot of credit for her hard work. Despite she is a woman, she crossed barriers that not women would ever dare to. It is emotional to read how “she would lie in the backyard at night and look at the stars and imagine what it would be like to be flying up there” (Nolen 86). She is truly deserved to be part of the space project. It is a shame that she could not.
