A quote from Origin, “I’m overwhelmed by a strange new thirst, as if I’ve been dehydrated my whole life and am only now starting to realize it. With all my heart and soul I long to know the words and names and stories, to know everything. I want to leave right now, this very minute, and scour every inch of this map with my own eyes, to feel the soil and trees with my own hands and taste the air of every corner of the planet.”

This quote occurs after one of the new scientists, Dr. Fields,  hands Pia a map of the world. Pia has never seen a map of the world and is enthralled with this new knowledge, this will probably lead Pis to lust for more knowledge. She will probably be come obsessed with acquiring as much knowledge of the outside world as possible. She will probably attempt an escape; I presume she will probably do it on her seventeenth birthday, where most of the people of her town will be distracted. She will try to reach out and find other life, not people in lab coats. Pia has also been increasingly annoyed with the fact that no one sees her as a person, people only seem to see her as the greatest scientific experiment, ever! With this in mind, her actions in escaping will be even more justified.
