I do predict that  Hester’s daughter; Pearl is going to be taken from her (Hester). I am predicting this because, in chapter seven, we read that the people( men and women of the Puritan town) wanted Pearl to be taken from her mother( Hester) because ,”Pearl was the result of a sinful affair… “. They said; “Pearl was evil”. So for this reason she should be taken from her mother. And also, in regard to the above, it is said that any Puritan who sins should be put to death or face a sever punishment, so for this reason instead of Pearl to be killed, she should be taken from her mother who committed the sin of adultery.
