After Marcus and Eddie shot the man during a stick up they most likely will try to avoid any situations that will get them caught and will get rid of any evidence. This is because after a crime is committed it is common for those who carried it out to get rid of the evidence. Also when Eddie stated “Marcus grabbed my shoulder to turn me back around. That’s when he saw the blood on my coat.” it was evident they would get rid of the coat to prevent questions from family and others. Also Eddie said “And I wasn’t about to take it home for my mom to wash.” this clearly indicates that they will try to remove evidence to prevent any unwanted questions from family.
