Hester, DImmesdale and Peral on the Scaffold

I thought everything would run as our plan but that was not what God wanted to happen and I believe God’s way is all the best. I told Dimmesdale that I bought three tickets to Bristol, England. The ship was going to leave tomorrow by passing all the past stories behind. As the escape plan today is the day that Dimmesdale will transfer his minister duty to the new governor. Then tomorrow he is leaving Boston with me and our Pearl. On the day “The excitement and relief Dimmesdale felt caused him to have more energy that he had in many years” (109).  “He was now beginning to speak. The sermon was the most powerful he had ever given. The whole audiences felt the wisdom and beauty of his words” (117). While that was all happening Dimmesdale suddenly stood on the scaffold that I stood before seven years. I shocked why he was doing that after we decided all that. When he stops talking the whole crowed began to speak while my heart was beating very rapidly. Then he reveled all about the red A. People felt ashamed that they never thought the holy man would be in this situation. His entire energetic and happy look turned suddenly. He felt ashamed and also happy that he finally got a chance to confess. Chilingworth tried to blame Dimmesdale but Dimmesdale told that Chillingworth was also a real sinner and that he wished him forgiveness from God. He called me and Pearl. I saw how Pearl missed and wanted her father barely even though it was about to end. She kissed him falling tear in both Pearl’s and Dimmesdale’s eyes. He told me that he took all my sin then he died on my hand. His last word was “Farewell”. After all happened People began to forget about us after all seven years. I don’t even know where Pear is now. I hope she is having a baby with a good father. I sometimes receive trinkets from overseas. I don’t know where it is from. I just hope it might be from Pearl.
