Blog Post #9 (prediction)
December11
- After the doctor finished, she looked at me with a devious glint in her eye. – I predict that she want to tell something to him.
- I walked into the Chicano Student Center. Esme’s face covered with pain; Amelia, crying. Mrs. Baez held a phone in her hand, although not talking into it.- Maybe they thought that could happened something bad to him in that place.
- After getting arrested in 1997, my son Ramiro, for whom I wrote the book, was eventually sentenced to twenty-eight years for three counts of attempted murder.- I predict that he will not see his son again because it’ll be a long time in jail.
- Ramiro wrote: “ When Always Running was first written, it opened my eyes to some of the things you have experienced, and some of the changes you have made in your life…”- The book that his father wrote change his life and that make him better person and help him get out of trouble.
- I predict that the book was a good example for young people who are part of gangs.
Always running was a hit at the time and helps other to appreciate their life.
