Reading Post #8 Connection

December11

In “Outcasts United” there are many connection that I can relate too. On my team there are kids from all around the world, we have kids from China, African, Germany, and Spain. We all love the game of soccer and can barely communicate with each other, we love each other to death and will always be friends. You can speak a different language and not understand us but we will love you and bring you in like family, in my book it talks about how other ethnicity’s are brought together to play on one team.  My team can relate to this book in many ways, we all have a different backgrounds and come from different places. A kid named Raul on my team is from Barcelona, he likes to share stories about  living in Spain and how amazing the food is. He is my favorite because on the first practice, I immediately clicked with him, we had the same way of shooting, passing, and running. He is very funny and loves to joke around, I consider him as family.
