Blog post #12 Visualization

January13

InĀ The Hunger Games, I see four tributes under a tent arguing about chasing after someone in the middle of an open field. Right next to them is a pile of supplies and weapons that are stacked up in a neat pyramid-style structure. As three of the four tributes run towards a camp fire in the distant, one remains under the tent guarding the pile of supplies. Around the field is a perimeter filled with wild life such as trees, grass, bushes, flowers, small animals, etc. I can see a girl, Katniss, readying her bow to shoot an “arrow into the pyramid” since the “one advantage” Katniss has is that she can shoot “with the bow and arrow [from a] distance”(Collins 217). I see an arrow pierce through a net filled with apples, which then fall unto the floor. Afterwards, I see a massive fiery explosion that engulfs the supplies, leaving nothing behind but smoldering ruble and a dark and hazy smoke cloud.
