From what i’ve read so far I can tell that the author mad  Charlie seem as if he  is a sensitive boy who pay attention to details . Even the littlest things that people don’t pay attention to , he does. For example Charlie was writing about how he felt about movie stars  , ” I feel the same way about some movie stars who are terrible to watch” , he then continued to discuss the conversation that his mom had with one of her friends. The way the book is written , they are no chapters. Instead each entry is a letter to a friend of Charlies. I like the way the author set the book up like this because i feel like i am reading Charlies personal journal and not a book. I feel a connection with charlie because it feels like he is talking to me .
