Alice had her mom and dad over and she  “…finally felt like I had a family [once] again”(Mlynowski 244). She will woke up the following morning and realize that her family was not meant to be. She is going to be disappointed because what she wished for was just a fairy tale. She is going confront her parents about how  miserable her life has been because of them. Her parents will try to explain but she is going to run out of the room. She will run to her boyfriend only to find out that he is not around. She will go out and lament accusing God for her unlucky destiny.
