I can understand Jenna’s position because my father once fell into a coma and when he woke up he had to learn how to do some basic things over again.  For example, my father at first like Jenna “…couldn’t walk” at all (Pearson 6). However after some practice he couldn’t walk and it  was strange that one day he “…couldn’t walk. [Then] The next day [he] could” (Pearson 6). As a result of my dad’s coma and his recovery and can in a way understand what Jenna Fox is going through. Since I understand what she is going through I understand the book a lot better. In a way I can actually relate to her parents as well because I had to sometimes teach my dad the basic things. I can connect to this book because of what my dad went through and also my role.
