Prediction #18

March15

In the book I read “Indians, cowboys, and farmers.” I think that after the railroads were being pushed to the great plains, it became easy for the cowboys to transport the cattle’s meat to other states without any problems, as they faced many problems to transport it across hundreds of miles without refrigeration, “Without refrigeration, the cattle had to be transported to places like Chicago to be butchered and the meat quickly distributed around the nation.”(Collier40). In my opinion, people now can live in the Great Plains, because it is connected with the big cities and transportation becomes easy which could help the cowboys to complete their own businesses in selling cattle. I think that in the next chapter a lot of people are going to move to the Great Plains.

“Prediction #18”

I like how you explain your opinion using words to describe what will happen like a lot of people will move to the Great Plains. In your blog you use the name of the book and you use a good evidence to give your opinion. I also like how you predict, and then you put your evidence from your book and try again to make your prediction more stronger. My only sugestion for you is to meke some changes in your puntuation like i think you dont need a comma before because. Your prediction make sense with your evidence. Another mistake you make is that you dont need to put a period after nation because you already put a period after (Collier40). “…nation.”(Collier40).
