This post is going to be visualization about the last chapter I have read of Beige by Cecil Castellucci. In this chapter Katie’s dad, the Rat is angry at his friend and he can barely control himself. She is terrified to see him like that. At the end the Rat got in the closet where his drum kit is, Katie was “standing still as a statue in the living room, watching the closet door…” (Castellucci 180). In my head I can see a young skinny girl standing in front of a closet door. She looks scare. I also can see that she is in a messy living room. From the ceiling there are model airplanes that the Rat had made. I also can see a table with lots of magazines that Katie’s dad always reads. All this things I see help me to understand and to focus on what I am reading.
