In this post I will make an evaluation of the last chapter I read of Promise the Moon. The last chapter talks about the first women pilots. Blanche Scott “[she] was the first skirt to fly a plane-and that happened when there were only seventy-five men pilots in the United States” (Nolen 16). It is very impressive that a woman was able to fly a plane when they were even a small number of men doing the job. Scott is a brave woman for being the first female doing a job only men were allow to do. She was very determine and made her way to achieve her goals with no help but her own.
