While reading L.A Candy by Lauren Conrad there have been many connections I’ve made.   One connection I made was to a time where I had to hang out with these girls even though I didn’t want to which reminds me of Scarlett having to hang out with Madison and Gaby even though she didn’t want to either.  “And she didn’t feel like wasting a few hours- actually, the whole day and night- hanging out with Madison and Gaby..” Also the part in the book where Jane was freaking out because she saw a celebrity reminds me of a lot of shows I’ve seen where the teenager freaks out when they see a famous person.  Some example of  those shows include: Hannah Montana, sister sister, what I like about you etc.  Furthermore,  Jane and Scarlett moving to L.A. and meeting new people and experiencing new things reminds me of my two friends who recently moved to L.A for college and have met so many new people and are having an amazing time.  Also D reminds me of this guy from this Spanish soap opera calledBetty La Fea because he’s sassy, adventurous, and has a mind of his own. Finally, Scarlett reminds me of myself in a way because she doesn’t really care about having a lot of friends and she really cares about school and her grades.
