Jenna’s grandmother, Lily, seems to resent Jenna. When Jenna is around she seems to stop talking or doing what she was doing. She never really does anything for Jenna but she always does something for Claire. Jenna has also noticed this, she says the “Anything she does for me is really for Mother” (Pearson 84). Also when she talks to Jenna she never compliments Jenna or says something good she seems to be really negative around Jenna. When Jenna tries to have a conversation with her she seems to end the conversations really quickly.

When Darren Shaw encounters his bestfriend, why are they motivated in fighting and trying to kill each other rather than working together? I understand the whole rivalry between the two clans but after not seeing each other in a long time wouldn’t they made up by now? When Mr Crepsley explains that vampires and vampanese are just like “…oil and water, we are not meant to mix”(Pg 193) does he refer to as they literally cannot co-exist or that they just choose not to? Also, when the fight is interrupted by a man who can control time and space known as Mr Destiny, he speaks of them destined to fight again, but not now. Is Mr. Destiny on the side of the vampanese or is he a mutual character, almost like an overseer? Also, Mr Crepsley seems to know a lot about him, but refuses to give out essential information that Darren should know.

I wonder what this girl looks like. She never says her name or describes her appearance . She doesn’t even tell us her ethnicity. Also , who exactly is Tracy ? She writes to her on a daily , but why ? Another thing that she didn’t mention was why she had to wait 2 days until she was able to take a shower. Also why wouldn’t they give her , her bra back? Did they believe that these things were a danger to her ? And if they did believe that , why hasnt anyone helped her within the past 3 days that she had been there? ” … the other was a petite black girl who i though looked nice until she flipped me the bird ( Halpern , 24) .” Who is this girl and why did she have so much animosity towards her? There are so many questions that have yet to be answered.

In the book Jenna Fox’s mother has decided that Jenna can start “…school tomorrow” (Pearson 48). When I read that I wondered why her mother had changed her mind. Earlier in the book going to school was “…out of the question” (Pearson 48). After she said Jenna could start school she let Jenna go for a walk. Why is she being less protective than she was a few weeks ago? Another question that this book makes me think of is, why did Jenna’s neighbor, Mr. Bender, change his name to a dead artist’s name. This book is filled with question that are asked on almost every page, it really make me think.

While reading The Fault In Our Stars I ask myself many things. For one, I wonder why Hazel’s father didn’t go to Amsterdam with her and her mother. Secondly, I ask myself what happened to Issac because the author stopped mentioning him in the book. Furthermore, I want to know why Hazel is so obsessed with knowing “what happens to Anna’s mother” in Van Houten’s book (Green 193). Additionally, I keep asking myself why doesn’t Van Houten think his book is good enough and why was he so rude when Hazel and Augustus met him. Finally, I want to know why Hazel left Augustus after they had sex without saying anything.

I am very curious about a couple things that are happening in the book, things that need clarification.
1) What exactly does Cammie want from Sam and Anna?
2) Why does she hate Anna so much?
3) When is Anna going to call Ben?
4) How come Ben hasn’t called Anna, he probably knows his father talked to Anna.
5) Will Anna go on the “senior trip” to Las Vegas?
6) I wonder why I haven’t been introduced to Anna’s family yet.
7) When will Sam stop being jealous of Poppy, her stepmother.
8) I wonder if Sam’s father will start to spend more time with her.

Why did Carla’s mom want Carla to go to party even though she knows that Carla has alcohol problems?
Where did Carla get caught with pot possession?
Who is designated driver for Carla?
Who was the guy who had given Carla the “joint and was shotgunning a stream of smoke into Carla’s mouth” (Watkins 20)?
Where did Carla go with the guy that she didn’t know?
Why did Dreadlocks and Scuzzy leave a trap for Sadie and Carla?

In The Hunger Games how did the games originate? Which Hunger Games was Hamish in? What were some of the previous setting for the Hunger Games? How many days does the Hunger Games take place? Where did Peeta learn how to camouflage so well? Will Katniss ever tell Peeta how she actually feels? What happens after the Hunger Games for the winner?

In the book that I’m currently reading called Spoiled by Heather cocks & Jessica Morgan the protagonist changes conversation quickly when she talks to her
friends about events in her life. Some of the things she talks about in this story made me think of her personality like when she says “My Boyfriend. Well, maybe. I think.
No, I guess he is, because it seems that she might be lying (Cocks 117). I wonder if the protagonist feels unsecured of herself and if that is the reason why she talks fast to
her friends. While the protagonist watches her friend park a car her tone of voice was negative, she express that she didn’t care about the things her friend was telling her.
When the protagonist says “like I care” does she really not care for her friends? Is this like the opposite of her talking in the story? (Cocks 124). The protagonist talks
about how her brother got caught by her mom because of something he did but she says how she would have “preferred being stuffed in her locker” than being in detention
at home for a long time (Cocks 138). When the protagonist says this does that means that she would preferred being in school then at home?

1. Why did Ruth move to New York in the first place?
2. Why didn’t Buck ever tell his dad about how he felt about his sister’s death?
3. Was the “Monopoly shoe” a way for Buck to have something to remember his sister by (Sebold 256)?
4. Was it Susie who was telling the father to let go?
5. Are the other two children, Lindsey and Buck, jealous that the father still thinks a lot about his daughter Susie who has died?
6. Are Lindsey and Buck going to be upset to see their mother who left them?
