So far this book is good, but there’s some questions in my head, In chapter 10 when Ever was talking to Riley, she said “be careful with Damen Auguste”, there’s something strange about him”(Noel 63). What did Riley mean when she said that? Does Damen possess powers to like Ever? Or does he know what happen to Ever without touching her? After that Rliey left and Ever was trying to call her back to explain what she meant, but it was too late. Next Day Ever kept staring at Damen and hearing what her sister said last night. I feel like theres something that’s going to happen with Damen and Ever and I don’t mean dating. Will Damen explain why Ever has these’s powers? Why she was the only one who survied that car accident and can only see her little sister and dog and not her parents? So many qustions, well I just have to keep reading to find out.

I am reading the book The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. I just began reading this book so i have many questions. The book starts of by introducing two theories. First, what is the theory of general relativity? Also, what is the theory of quantum mechanics? Why cant the two theories coexist? These topics that are extremely controversial are rattling the minds of physicists everywhere.

In “Outcasts United” I have finally finished reading this mood changing book. I would like to know why the other didn’t want to finish the book as a happy ending? Did he write this book for young adults or children who are growing up to make friendships? ” At the end we finally separated, never coming back to be a team” (Warren Chapter 12 Page 10) The coaches never tried in my opinion, to keep a team together you must learn what there problems are. Arguing with your coach is the worst thing a player can do, it shows you’re playing style. Not listing to your coach shoes you’re very weak on the field, you should not be playing because the team will be disappointed in you. Did the author try to convince the reader that soccer is a bad sport? This book gives soccer a bad name, many people will read this and have a negative view on soccer. Was the author a coach in the past and failed to succeed?

While reading today’s chapter Hazel was explaining about the time she ended up in the ICU. She mention how she couldn’t catch her breath, and that when the doctors tried to help her she felt “…embarrassed by their desperation, disgusted that they wouldn’t just let go…” (Green, 25). But why did she feel disgusted?. The doctors were just trying to help her. Why does she feel this way?, she is a survivor. So while she was going through this experience she remembered “…wanting not to be awake” (Green, 25). I understand going through so much pain must be hard, but after going through the “hard” part, why would she give up?.

In Catching Fire, Katniss and her fellow party of other tributes are attacked by a poisonous fog. They are all weak and tired, yet they run as fast as they can away from it. Knowing that Mags was just weight they had to carry, she sacrificed her self. As everyone falls down in somewhat exhaustion, “Mags hauls herself up [from Finnick’s back]” and gives Finnick a farewell kiss on the lips “and then hobbles straight into the fog” killing herself, to ensure the survival of her fellow comrades (Collins 136). I believe Mags did the right thing, as she realized that her being on the team at her age and with her limited mobility, by sacrificing herself. With her gone, the rest can recuperate and move on with surviving the other tributes. I think this was probably the best way to die, from Mags’ point of view as she had lived a long life. She not only survived the Hunger Games once, but was also able to live her life up until a very old age. She was able to put her death to good use, rather than dying somewhere in the Capitol, where not many people would care about her.

In “Outcasts United” Chapter 12 talks about Coach Pete scheduling a meeting for the team and parents. “I cannot say it anymore, what I thought would be a championship team is now over. I quit and will never be coming back to teach such irresponsible kids .” (Chapter 12, Page 9) I would always think this book would finish up good, lately it’s jut been getting worse. Coaches are quitting and players are fighting with each other because they all go to different schools and are all different ages. Towards the end of Outcasts United, the team starts to break up and all of the players go to college. Keeping a team together is very hard, as a coach you need to bond with the players and communicating with them each week. At Chapter 13 all the parents gather together and write a letter to the community saying that starting a new will be good for the upcoming freshmen and the class of 2018.Reading this book makes me think of my team and how much I appreciate my friendships with them, they are all my family. A book can change your thoughts how you view your team, friends, and family, always be nice and respect them because they will do the same in the future for you.
