At this event these students were able to blend a smoothie by riding a bike and, most importantly, networked with local professionals as part of their capstone project. Bryce, Kevin, and Grace intend to create an app to improve accessibility of public transportation in Alexandria.

The students who attended this event were able to introduce themselves to and received contact information from several of the speakers. They learned that there are over 175,000 jobs in solar energy and 1 million new jobs in energy as a whole. We’re glad our students were able to attend and hope they will continue their efforts in STEM as a result of this event!
