Digital Citizenship Certification

ACPS has been approved as a Common Sense Certified District: Digital Citizenship, an honor that recognizes our efforts in teaching digital citizenship to young people and engaging the entire community in this important discussion.  ACPS uses the Common Sense Education Digital Citizenship Curriculum to empower students to use technology responsibly, safely, and effectively.

In ACPS, we promote efforts to enable students to be academically successful, healthy, and ready to learn.  This includes safe, ethical, and respectful behaviors when interacting with peers and adults in digital environments.  We aim to provide a rich learning environment and for all students to understand the rights, roles, and responsibilities of being digital citizens.
