Ten Thousand Villages’ Director of Outreach works to build relationships with outside and local organizations to build greater awareness about the importance of fair trade and to increase sales so as to purchase more product from our artisans living in developing countries around the globe.
What types of work will the intern perform?
- Completing a brief, in-store training orientation.
- Managing Outreach events, many of which are offsite sales.
- Learning about Ten Thousand Villages’ artisan groups; sharing their products and stories with customers at a variety of special events.
- Assisting Outreach Director with coordinating logistics and product for each event.
