Good Government: An Egyptian’s Perspective

Good Government: An Egyptian’s Perspective

In my country, Egypt, there was a revolution because the government wasn’t doing what the people asked for and they used to steal money from poor people. They even used to put them in jail for no reason because poor people in our country have no rights. And they don’t offer people a good education or a job.

What governments should do is to protect their country and the people in it. They should respect them too. And do what people ask for, even what poor people ask for, because it’s never fair for rich people to vote for laws and have rights while other poor people don’t.

Another thing the governments should do is to make laws that all people will agree with, not just what the government wants, but what everybody in the country wants. Governments should also create a lot of money, so people can buy and sell products. And because money is very important in life–because it’s the only thing that buys happiness  to everybody. So the country won’t stay dull and poor.

Governments should build schools for people to learn too, We don’t want the people of the country to be ignorant people.. They all have the right to learn and educate. Education is a one important rule in life, it makes you a good student, and make you have a good job also having a good job will make you have a good career. Governments should give the hospitals a free medical care to keep peoples life safe and if somebody got a bad disease they will always be safe by going to the hospital to make them better.

What governments shouldn’t do is that they shouldn’t treat people in their country in a bad way because of how poor they are or what they struggle with. They should help them and be fair with both poor and rich people. They shouldn’t also be unfair with the laws they do, that might causes a lot of disagreement and arguing between a lot of people and it will drive them to madness till the point that they might destroy the governments and it might be like an Anarchy.

So that’s another reason why governments should leave the people of the country vote for the laws. Governments shouldn’t  arrest  people for no reason except if they broke the rules, because arresting people for no reason would totally be unfair and that might turn into a disaster and there will be no more rules, no more laws, no more voting and no more governments.

  1. that was the biggest bad what the Egypt government do , that they kicked of Hosny Mobark out ,because he was’nt so bad but the people did not follow the laws and you can see this now that they (WILL NEVER) follow the rules and the law and now they cant find a good president because every one wants to ” take poor people money” , now its very bad country & they will never be good

  2. Well, I think this is a good point. One of the most important thing a government can do is not interfere in people’s lives and be stable. Under Mubarak, Egypt was stable. Now, you are looking at at least 10+ years of chaos. Is it worth it?
