The book that I am currently reading is called “The Luxe.” The reason why I have such a good understanding about the book is the fact that me and the main character have somethings in common. Elizabeth is the main characters name. She is one out of the two girls that the Holland’s had. As myself I am one out of the two, also the fact that her name is Elizabeth. She has a similar life as mine. She is expected to do so much yet does not have the motivation to come with it. Her life is complicated as mine is also. I understand how she feels about certain situations and why she responds the why she does. It is beyond the fact that we see things the same it maybe the fact that we are such hardheaded women. This makes everything a little more complex. This is why I understand the things she does and exactly why. This is the reason why I enjoy the book. The fact that myself and her are so much alike is my connection to the book.
