In the book the outsiders, the main character Ponyboy is talking about his life. In the section I read, Ponyboy had just been beaten up by the other gang in the city and the gang came to his side to help him. I see that in the future, Ponyboy will be attacked, but this time he will have help. I also see a bigger fight coming down the road. Ponyboy will also start to carry protection because he now is paranoid. A quote I chose from the book is, ” How would you like a haircut right below the chin greaser. It occurred to me then that they could kill me. I went wild.”
