This week, the land lady was found dead in her house. I am predicting this death was not circumstantial and many more will continue. Based solely on the title, The Oxford Murders, leads one to believe that more than one murder will occur on the story.  Also, when this first murder happens detectives come to investigate it, this investigation is a big part of the story and seems to be foreshadowing for other murders to happen. At one point in the story, the detective asks the main character to. “Not mention this to anyone” as if this is a reoccurring thing in the town before the main character moved there. For these reasons I strongly believe that these murders will keep occurring, until the main character, since he is new to the town, does something that changes the regular structure of how the town runs and the natural flow of occurrences.
