In my book Glimpse, I found out that the mother  had prosituted her daugther from time to time to make money for the family. The mother saw it as a way of pay back for the death of her husband, which happened when he was on the way to get Lizzie medicine for her cold. When Hope, Lizzie’s younger sister read that in the diary, she now understood why she was like that. It was all of the mothers fault for making her that way. I can connect with this because in reality there are situtions like this actually happening. Mothers are trafficking there daugthers for money. I think that is wrong in so many ways and that it should be stopped.   – Aaliyah M.
