While I reading this book, I though many things. For example, I used to think all parents in US really friendly with their child and support them to do anything, in short, they can do freely whatever they want. But in this novel, the high school student Sophie really scare of her dad, they don’t have strong relationship, also with her mom. My question is why her dad keep controling her in any kind of ways? From “After the socail worker left, my dad would kill me.” In usual, high school students tend to be naughty, rascal, so it’s really normal things. But her dad like to control her on very serious way.
