In the book “Until We Meet Again” Darcy and the family have moved into their new beautiful house. Everybody loves the new place, even their grandmother.  Every so happy, parents are having conversations about everything, Jaime is running back and forth from room to room, but Darcy can’t help to get her mind off of Hakeem. The next day at school Darcy doesn’t see her boyfriend Hakeem, and hasn’t heard from him for days now. After school she goes over to Lsselle’s apartment and meets Kelena the baby she’s supposed to be babysitting while lisselle goes back to school. While at Liselle’s apartment Darcy is greeted by Brian: Liselle’s brother who’s she staying with for the mean time. Brian is handsome, broad shoulders, nice smile: handsome.  Brian and Darcy greet each other before Brian headed off to work. The next Hakeem calls and lets Darcy know that he didn’t come to school prior to staying with his dad at the hospital. Heading home anxious to get home and call Hakeem and see ” was sup”, Darcy runs into Brian, cleaning his parked red Toyota Camry. Brian offers Darcy a ride, she accepts it although her new house isn’t too far a walk. After dropping Darcy off, they exchange goodbyes.  She heads inside with nothing but Hakeem on her mind. I can connect because I’ve been oh so busy all at once with too much things on my mind.  Every time I move into a new place the family and I do nothing but share our excitement with each other. As kids we settle in by running back and forth evaluating the rooms and being quick to figure out which would be whose. I can predict that the family will continue to be happy with the house. Darcy and Hakeem will distant a bit, Darcy and babysitting Kelena will get her minds off things.
