The book I am currently reading is Jurassic Park. I have one major question to ask. Why did the U.S Government not allow the bodies of John Hammond and Ian Malcolm allowed to be Buried?

The reason why I asked this question is because I was reading and I saw a quote. That the book said and it was “they did not permit the burial of John Hammond and Ian Malcolm”. It is plausible that the U.S Government wanted to keep the bodies for an investigation. But I do know that they should allow Ian Malcolm to body be sent Back to the United States.  However even though it might be under investigation Ian Malcolm still deserve some sort of dissent burial at the most.
