Don’t judge another, especially not someone’s mother.

December11

Previously in Another Piece of My Heart by Jane Green, Andi came into another encounter with Emily and Sophia’s mother. Andi knew that their mother was an alcoholic. But she questioned to as why their mother always drank on her times she has with her kids? Sophia (Ethan’s youngest daughter) made Andi really puzzled when she said “All grown-ups drink wine all the time! “Mommy drinks wine all the time!” Andi told her stepdaughter that that wasn’t true of course. That made Andi really upset because Brooke’s children find her very unpleasant to be around. Every time the kids leave to go visit their mother, they always are in hurry to come home. The reading strategy I am going to choose is prediction. I predict that Andi will look for help for her stepchildren’s mother, even though she doesn’t like her. It’s not about whether or not if Andi likes Brooke. Brooke needs help, so hopefully somebody helps her go to rehab because if she doesn’t get help, something terrible might happen to their mother.

I really like your prediction that Andi will help Brooke even though she does not like her. You must know people who rise above their own feelings to do what is right. That is not an easy thing to do, but if you are making this prediction, I figure that you must have experienced this in your own life. Lucky that you know someone or some people who are like that.
