Predictions
As the story was ending and everything was wrapping up i couldnt help but wonder. Why didnt one of the main characters Jason and Frank save Percy and Annabeth.More importantly why didnt Annabeth save herself. In many ways i think that Annabeth could have gotten helself out of Arachne’s web.I mean sure her singe tread of web was pretty transparent and Annabeth thought that it must have been just a tread that strayed and conneted with her. What she should have done was cut the string of web off of her as soon as she saw it .But even wisdoms daughter couldnt forsee what would happen next which is probably one of the biggest hangers in any book i read this year.Arachnes was thought to be down in the pit. That was true to some extent. She was down there but was hanging to to a single that was over the pit.Annabeth should have seen something like this coming especially with a grudge that shes been keeping over on her mom for several thousand years.Percy of course did what i thought he was going to do and try to save Annabeth with no luck of course. So he must have been thinking why dont i go down the pit to the underworld with her.Oh course it was intended for them to be together to the very but i didnt expect anything like this. Now whats should happen next and whats probably going to happen next are explained now. What im assuming from whats going on is that Percy and Annabeth are going to die real soon. Many would say thats crazy and that they shouldnt die because well their the main characters of the entire story.Since the beginning it was always Percy Annabeth and Grover.Grover is not a big part of the story this time around so it falls to Percy and Annabeth who have been through so much in the last 8 books and probably nighth and tenth books considering how things play out.”Then Percy let go of his tiny ledge, and togther holding hands,he and Annabth fell into the endless darkness.”Judgeing from that quote from the story they dont have much to do whatever it is that their going to in the underworld. The rest are probably going to do what they need to on their end and i hope that Percy and Annabeth get through this, alive even.
Well it would seem that there is some uncertainty in your predictions. That is good. It means that the author is keeping you guessing and that sometimes what you predict does not happen. That keeps readers intrigued by the story and keeps them wondering. I like your post. You seem to really be thinking about the characters and what they are like and using that information to make your predictions. That is good reading!
