One major issue today in politics is tax cuts. Both political parties want something different; they are not able to reach an agreement on what to do. They have a deadline of January first to come up with a solution, but at this rate it does not look like they are going to come up with one soon. “If the two parties fail to come to a deal by Jan. 1, taxes on the average middle-income family would rise about $2,000 over the next year.” (Lowery) If this is to happen, many families will suffer to keep their lived going on a daily basis.
