Walden Plan #1
My rut is my phone. I need my phone for everything, for making plans, for communicating, for finding out about things, and for many other reasons. My phone is part of my life. Without my phone I feel different. I feel like I’m stuck in a silent world. My phone makes my life less simple because I when with it, it always keeps me active. I am constantly using my phone.
I think that it would be hard for me to give up this habit because giving up on a habit itself is really hard work. Just imagine giving up something that you have already added to be part of your life. I’m pretty sure it would seem hard. If I give it a try to let go of this habit I will concentrate my free time on doing other things such as focusing more in school work, reading, and being more athletic. Emmerson once said “Nature never became a toy to a wise spirit,” this qoute inspires me to get through with my plan of breaking my habit of my rut.
