My Rut Entry #2

December14

I am doing extremely well with not playing video games.  I have found other things to do to occupy my time.  Instead of playing video games, I am going outside more and spending more time with my friends.  Giving up video games has taught me that there is more to life then that and that I should be enjoying life outside with my friends and family.  “The change from storm and winter to serene and mild weather, from dark and sluggish hours to bright and elastic ones, is a memorable crisis which all things proclaim.”  I am proud of myself for sticking with my plan to not play video games.  It has taught me that I do not need to spend every free minute play games.  I can spend time at home with my family by talking to them about our day and enjoying each other’s company.  My mother and father have noticed the biggest change because I am not spending every free second in front of the tv.  I am actually spending time talking to them.
