In my independent reading i chose to pick connection to find a reading strategies in the book. I connected about what will happen next in the story The Hunted. I connected with frank the detective in the story. i connected when he was study a crime that happened a week about he was dating a hooker that is a model. A quote that i found was “Joey brewer was killed on Tuesday night. you two were seen working him over and threatening him in Barney’s …”
The connection strategy is supposed to be used to explain how YOU connected to part of the story. Something that happened to you or a character that reminds you of someone you really know. I think this blog post sounds more like a prediction but it’s not exactly that either. Try again with the connection – have you seen a crime? does Frank remind you of someone you know? have you seen someone get threatened?
