Entry #3

The week of giving up my rut has gone surprisingly well. I actually get a lot more assignments completed on time and actually had time to have fun this past week. Giving up this rut has had a positive effect on my life because it has taken away a lot of the stress I was feeling when I did do any homework or projects. I am glad that we had this experience because it showed me that I do better when I actually do work and set aside time for schoolwork and house work. In so aspects my life was simplified. It simplified the amount of stress I had because of piled up homework, but it also impaired some of my sleep because I was staying up later. A quote that inspired me to finish this challenge off was “It is never too late to give up your prejudices” (Walden).
