Walden Plan Entry #2
So far I am doing just great with the plan it’s been kind of hard but I have gotten the hang of not sending a lot of texts and texting a lot period. This really hasn’t had a big effect on my life like before things have been the same kind of and doesn’t feel like much has changed. Thinking that I am now almost down with this plan, and looking at a few quotes from Emerson this quote has really taken my liking, “Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.” (Emerson). This quote is talking about if you fail at something you can always get back up and try again and you will never be counted on that, failing is kind of a great way and learn so you can get better and not fail again at that task.
With me giving up this rut I feel okay but really don’t think that this will ever be happening again even though it is a good way and try new things and break a kind of bad habit. Other people have the same rut as me and kind of agree but with other people they seem to be going through a much harder time than I am, but kind of understand where they are coming from. My family think it is good and okay I suppose with me not being on my phone a lot texting all the time and doing something even better with my free time.
