The book i read started out where the last one “brinsinger”left off which was in the middle of the war. Eragon was fighting alongside his trusted dragon Shaphia.The town that they were trying to take back had a mysterious knight that had a weapon that Eragon hadnt seen before.To Eragon it seemed as if his dragon was in danger though he had several spells of protection on her.So he went and protected her in time as the knight charged at her.Once all since of danger was gone he had talked to her and explained that she was in danger though he wanted to know more about the weapon that they got from him.The important thing was that his dragon was okay for the time being and they were out of harms way.
